Process two (2) bookings for different products or services from initial request to finalisation of the bookings.
Work to a specified time frame determined by customers and the organisation and follow the requirements of your organisational policies regarding client bookings.
You must create the following documents to process each booking and support client interactions:
- Client Booking Form – you will need to design or use a Client Booking Form you’re your current work environment, this is to be completed in full, (as an internal form, it should demonstrate the use of industry terminology and acronyms where possible)
· Formal communications with the client about the service being requested should also include a final communication for finalizing the booking.
· Evidence of booked services – book a combination of at least four (4) products or services making up one complete package or itinerary, these may include but are not limited to): –
· Accommodation
· Travel
·Tour or Attraction information
· Event services were indicated by the client
· Requested changes or amendments by the client
· Information you may provide to the client about any legislation applying to their booking request, this may include travel permits, visas, special needs requests or adjustments.
Students will provide evidence:
- The specific industry sector and organisation
- Various supplier services that are booked
- Different types of bookings that are made for
- Industry terminology and common abbreviations used in bookings and confirmations
- Primary components of consumer protection laws that relate to the provision of products and services, specifically organisational responsibility to
- Processes involved in updating the financial status of bookings
- Supplier payment actions
- Key booking details
- Return confirmation inclusion details
- Formats and inclusions used in supplier booking requests, and styles that cater for those with special needs
